Circa 1893.

An original co-operative haberdashery shop counter. Ebonised pine carcass with 10 graduated dovetailed drawers and a solid mahogany counter top with the original brass yard stick set into the counter edge for measuring drapery. An ideal kitchen Island or shop fitting with great provenance .

Acquisitioned from the original building owner, built in 1893 and run as the Ackworth Co-op in West Yorkshire England. The building has a stone plaque reading 'Ackworth Cooperative Society 1893'. The building was the original haberdashery department of the Co-op.
