Circa 1880.

Large English ebonised pitch pine sectional bookcase cabinet from Grade II listed Egerton School, Knutsford, Cheshire England. with 4 sliding glazed doors, original hand blown glass and 4 panelled sliding base doors. Featuring original brass door furniture, carved reeded detailing and adjustable shelving to the glazed cabinets and panelled base.

An excellent English example of scale, proportion, and utilitarian design. A versatile piece of furniture which breaks down into 4 sections, with a shallow depth making this an excellent contender as a kitchen larder, bookcase or display cabinet.
